The AMT U40W1.2 is the smallest model in the U.Series. It is suitable for 2-way table top speakers as well as for 3-way floor standing speakers. AMT U60W1.1 and AMT U80W1.1 could be described as the small and the large all-rounder of this product range. Both can be used in small or medium 2-way and 3-way systems. AMT U60W1.1 offers a slightly larger vertical radiation angle. So it‘s ideally suited for situations with a short listening distance. Both convince with the decisive quality features of the AMT U.Series with Mundorf diaphragm: Exceptionally low K3 / K5 distortion data, a truly powerful music performance within the entire application range and, at the same time, the fine micro-dynamics and richness of music details that distinguish all Mundorf AMT’s.Our AMT U.Series tweeters are gaining more and more popularity among discerning DIY loudspeaker builders too. In order to meet their demands in terms of precise but easy baffle-front mounting and quality finish, from now on, every U.Series model will come also with an attractive black aluminum face plate. A precisely fitting cutout in the back of the 6mm! thick plate ensures that the AMT motor unit is perfectly centered and can be integrated flush into the loudspeaker baffle with an enlarged contact surface.

TWARON® Unicorn‘s Tail is a speaker cabinet filler for acoustic damping purpose which is produced by Thüringisches Institut für Textil-und Kunststoff-Forschung (TITK), Germany, exclusively for MUNDORF company, Germany.
Unicorn‘s Tail is predominantly made from cleaned and karded TWARON® fibres as user-friendly "endless" strings. It was especially developed to absorb and damp the lower audio frequency range (<1 kHz) in subwoofers, transmission line tubes, insulation panels, etc. The material is easy to work with and does not age. The damping performance of TWARON® compares so favourably with that of all other known damping materials that it is today a "must" for many well-known developers and manufacturers of high-end speakers.
